CPR India, formally known as the Indian Resuscitation Council (IRC), was founded in 2017 by Dr. S. S. C. Chakra Rao with the vision of making Every Citizen a Lifesaver. It was established to create India-specific CPR guidelines and to promote large-scale training programs so that lifesaving skills are accessible beyond the medical community.
